My Favorite Fall Beauty

Fall is in full swing now with the weather dropping to the 50s and 60s. The leaves are finally starting to turn and I find myself making more soups and wearing more layers. I love everything about fall. The colors, the activities involved, the lattes...it's pretty much my favorite time of year. One thing I love about this time of year is the color palate that comes with it. With naturally tan skin and dark hair, I love wearing deep red hues and hints of burgundy because it goes so nicely with my skin tone.[show_shopthepost_widget id="3324521"]Always the lover of lipstick, I recently have stumbled upon items from Urban Decay. Their lipsticks are so creamy and full of pigment. In these photos I am wearing "Hideaway" from their collection. They have a wide range of colors to choose from and tons of options as far as shiny or matte or shimmery.After I apply my makeup, I always go back over it with the finishing powder from Bare Minerals. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my makeup since adding this to my routine. It helps your makeup go from looking cakey to looking flawless. It also photographs really well and is a savior if you are going to be sweating or have a problem with oily skin.Another product I have recently fallen in love with is the gel polish from Essie. I decided to start doing my own nails again this year rather than getting them done at a nail salon. I hate waiting around for my nails to dry because I'm usually in a rush. This product has been a game changer. I simply apply 2 coats and within minutes the product is fully dry. I also haven't had much trouble with chipping since using this product. This product has saved me tons in my beauty expense budget.Trying to keep my summer glow in the winter months can be a challenge. I have tried an array or different self tanners, but to this day my favorite remains St. Tropez. I love the tanning mousse. I apply it using their mitt and enjoy a beautiful even tan for up to two weeks. I also love using Hoola bronzer for an extra glow with my makeup.To keep my skin nice and hydrated, I recently discovered the serums from Caudalie and I am absolutely obsessed. This serum is very thick and has made a huge difference in my skin. I feel like it has made my skin more youthful and hydrated and has helped my makeup go on more evenly. I follow this up with occasional sheets masks and sometimes I use argan oil from Trader Joe's if it gets really dry.
