A Grand Millenial Blue and White Christmas Tree
It All Started with an Idea
For my tree this year I decided to go with a blue and white color scheme. Blue and white is such a timeless combination and I love how it turned out.
Because I wanted to keep things exciting, I placed my faux tree from King of Christmas in the Blue Ming Handpainted Ceramic Planter from Frontgate. I love how this made the space look less cluttered and invited more space for presents ;).

When I first purchased my tree decorations, I mainly went with white, gold, and silver ornaments. Having the ornaments be a neutral palate allows me to change my color scheme every few years, which I love.
Finding the Ribbon Topper
The first thing I scouted when I decided to change my tree color scheme this year to blue was the tree topper. I wanted a dusty blue to go along with the rest of the tree decor and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. There's a great shop in my old home town in Florida that carries tons of ribbon to make super original bows. I FaceTimed with the bow specialist there to create this stunner.
This year, Target had some great robin's egg blue boxes that I purchased to help with the decor. I dressed them up a little with clip-on ornaments and additional ribbon.
Only two 12-packs of blue ornaments were needed to infuse the design with a new color scheme, which makes it is an inexpensive way to update your tree with new looks each year.
I recently wrote a blog post about chic ribbon that I’ve found, so it’s not too late if you’re looking to add some.
I love how chic my tree turned out and I’m obsessing over the color combination. If you decide to do something similar, tag me on instagram so I can see how it turned out!
