Luxurious Easter Dining Room Decor with Blue Herend Bunnies

Easter is just around the corner and this year for our decor, I wanted all things Easter chic! This dining room decor was so fun to put together and involved lots of lovely partners to achieve. I have been a long-time lover of Herend China. Particularly, I've always been drawn to their bunnies for Easter as a charming and elegant decoration. I used their stunning pieces throughout the room to create an upscale look for the holiday.

Bring on the Blooms

What better way to celebrate this springy holiday than with fresh blooms? I partnered with Bloomin' Bouquets on these stunning floral arrangements. When I started designing the room, I wanted lots of color to go against the Herend blue bunnies. Since I have mainly neutrals in the room, I thought mixing in lots of color would add an elegant and fun look to my simple palate. Bloomin' Bouquets took all of my inspiration images and made arrangements that were so perfect, I couldn't have imagined them up myself! I love all of the wildflowers and unique shapes of the florals they selected for the design.

The floral shortbread cookies were provided by Alma Kitchen and I think they would be fabulous for any event! High tea, anyone?

Hippity Hop

The entire design started with these lovely Herend bunnies. Blue is my favorite color, so naturally, I selected all blue for my bunnies and used one as a cake topper! I even had custom Herend bunny cocktail napkins made from Etsy, and couldn't be happier with how they came out! Something Old, Something New

When I started on the design, I wanted it to feel chic and modern. I love infusing traditional items like my Herend bunnies and antique furniture with things that are updated to keep the space from feeling stuffy or out of date. To keep the florals interesting, I wanted the table flowers to be individual blooms in varying-sized clear vessels for a funky look. I ended up grabbing more and more mini vases to achieve the fullness I was looking for, grabbing several from Michaels.

Size Matters

For me, it's always important to switch up sizes of things in a room. In this case, since we were planning several arrangements, I wanted there to be a variety of sizes. The sideboards got two medium arrangements, my Louis Chest received one large arrangement, and the table has dozens of small pieces. It really makes a statement and keeps all of the areas looking fresh and interesting.

Layers on Layers

I absolutely love a full table! I used Herend's gorgeous china for the table and mixed in some fun modern flatware and a frilly napkin from Juliska. For this design, I used their Silk Ribbon Charger in Cornflower, Fishscale Dinner Plate in Gold, and the Queen Victoria Salad Plate in Green. For the glasses, I fell in love with these floral wine glasses from Williams-Sonoma.

To Cover or Not to Cover?

Originally, I really wanted a custom tablecloth for the design. The only unfortunate thing about having a round dining table is having good options for tablecloths. Typically, they're too small and barely hang over the sides of my table. I decided to leave my marble top exposed rather than covering it up because I thought it would add another modern touch to my decor. I love the way it turned out because the flowers almost feel like they're floating on the table!

Let Them Eat Cake

If you live in the Atlanta area, you have to try Henri's Bakery. They are a true Atlanta classic and all of their food, cakes, and other sweet goodies are to die for. My husband could hardly wait to dive into this carrot cake! As soon as the shoot was over, the first thing we did was cut into the carrot cake. It was decadent with coconut shavings, raisins, and homemade cream cheese frosting.

Pearly Whites

I recently shared with you all an incredible estate sale that I attended in Atlanta and scored some one-of-a-kind finds. These beautiful mother of pearl and sterling silver forks will be forever used for special occasions moving forward. I love having special items in my butlers pantry like these to add a special touch to holiday celebrations.

Pop the Bubbly

I love the idea of commemorating special holidays and events with a custom-painted wine bottle. I asked my friend Autumn Arissa Designs to paint this Veuve bottle for me for the occasion and shared my color scheme with her. I requested a crest with an R for our last name and I love how it effortlessly fits into the design!

I hope you enjoyed this design as much as I did creating it! Share your chic Easter decorations with me by tagging me in your stories or post!
